Pocket diaper

Lya makes cloth diapers for babies that will grow with them. They are created and conceived in our workshop in Saint-Eustache, Quebec. Each diaper is made with care and love!

Specs sheet of the diaper:

- The outside layer is made of 2 layers of Pul fabric, a waterproof yet breathable fabric.
- The inside layer is made of athletic wicking jersey which will keep your baby's bottom dry. This fabric will let the liquid go through it while pushing the humidity in the core of the diaper.
- The closing system is made of snaps that will adjust the waist size as well as the thigh size
- The back pocket opening is very large to facilitate the placement of the insert.

We offer our diapers in two different sizes: The one size and the newborn

- The one size fits all will fit most babies from 7 to 35+ pounds.
- Our newborn size will fit most babies from 5-15 pounds. A snap is added at the middle of the front of the diaper to make it fold downward and protect the umbilical cord until it falls.
*Please note that the weights are given as indication as every kids have their own morphology.

Inserts

You have the choice to buy the diaper with or without inserts. The insert, if chosen, is a trifold of organic cotton and bamboo. We offer two choices: the day insert and the night insert. For the one size, the day insert absorbs 12 ounces of liquid The night insert absorb 24 ounces of liquid. You can add a booster if you wish to add more absorption to your diaper. The booster absorbs 6 ounces of liquid. 

For the newborn size, the day insert absorbs 8 ounces of liquid, the night insert absorbs 12 ounces of liquid and the booster absorbs 4 ounces of liquid.

Diaper cover

The outside layer of lya's diaper cover is made of PUL, a waterproof yet breathable fabric. The closing system is made of snaps.

Our diaper covers can be used in many different ways. You can combine them with an insert, you can put them over a flat diaper or over a fitted diaper. In all options, the diaper cover has to be combined with and absorbent layer to be used as a cloth diaper. 

Our one size fits all will fit most babies from 7 to 35+ pounds. Our newborn size will fit most babies from 5-15 pounds Please note that the weights are given as indication as every kid have their own morphology.

Sanitary pads

The sanitary pads are offer in six different degree of absorption:

• liner (15.5 cm)
• light (24 cm)
• regular (24 cm)
• maxi (28.5 cm)
• light - short (20 cm)
• regular - short (20 cm)

Lya's washable sanitary pads are the perfect alternative to the disposable product available on the market. They have a stay dry effect. You can choose between white, black or fuchsia. The absorbant layer is made of biological cotton and bamboo.

Nursing pads

Lya nursing pads are made of 3 layers of fabric: one layer of PUL to be waterproof, a core of bamboo and organic cotton for the absorption and one layer of athletic wicking jersey for a stay dry effect.

The pads have 11cm of diameter.

Diaper Pods

Lya's diaper pods are made of Pul, a water resistent fabric. Our wetbags closes with zippers. On the side, you have a pocket. The pocket is outside the bag on one of the longest side. The diaper pods will carry more or less 7 diapers. It is ideal on the go or to store diapers at the daycare.

The diaper pod is 25cm long x 16cm wide x 17cm high.

Wetbags

Lya's wetbags are made of Pul, a water resistent fabric. Our wetbags closes with zippers. They will follow you everywhere and be of use, whether you need to store dirty diapers in the house or on the go, or to bring wet wipes or even to store wet bathing suits.

The wipes wetbags are 28cm wide x 19cm high. They can store around 50 wipes and keep them wet while on the go.

Our medium wetbags are 26cm wide x 45cm high. The have a tab on one side with snaps to hang the bag.

Our big wetbags are 35.5cm wide x 64.5cm high. They have 2 tabs with snaps to hang the bag on a pole.
